Polishing - Grinder Velcro Backer Pads
Product Details: Velcro backing pads for Diamond Polishing Pads. Threaded for a 5/8" chuck (standard grinder/polisher size). Semi-Rigid backers are constructed of a thick rubber, offering limited flexibility. Aluminum Rigid backers are made of aluminum, and don't flex at all.
Backer Pads have rust proof threads, and a Velcro 'hook side' surface. Tip- Using a 4" Diamond Polishing Disc on a 3" Backer (or a 5" Pad on 4" Backer) allows the pad to bend, which helps when trying to polish curved areas, such as a concrete sink. (3" Convex Diamond Pads are designed specifically for polishing sinks and curved surfaces).
Product Specifications:Measurements: 3", 4", or 5" Diameter, 1" Deep. Thread size for grinder/polisher: 5/8".
