Amperseal Concrete Sealer and Anti Grafitti Coating

  • Amperseal is a concrete and masonry surface coating that offers top of the line protection from scratching, staining, and acid etching. It is also an excellent anti-graffiti coating.
  • Available in three finishes: Flat, Matte, and Gloss.
  • Amperseal can be applied onto concrete in as little as two days after pour.
  • Cures in 72 hours.
  • Can be applied by roller or by sprayer.
  • Amperseal has the advantage of being less moisture sensitive than other sealing systems.
  • Amperseal has 20 years of field performance history as an anti-graffiti system.
  • Complete stain resistance to all household items including but not limited to vinegar, wine, hot sauce, oil, muriatic acid, permanent marker, bleach, mustard, and more.
  • Suitable for any outdoor or indoor environment.
  • Completely UV stable.
  • Low VOC less than 78g/l.
  • Extremely thin film provides excellent scratch resistance.

  • Coverage:

  • Amperseal is sold in kits covering 70-80 sq. ft. per kit.
  • Each kit contains a quart of Primer, a quart of Base Coat, and a quart of Finish Coat (Finish Coat is mixed- part A and part B, and then applied).
  • Base coat fills in pinholes in the concrete surface, so the Finish Coat applies and lays out very smoothly.
  • Applying the Base Coat will also not enhance the color of the surface being coated- when fully cured, the surface will have the same coloring as it did when dry, and un-coated.
  • If color enhancing is desired, then skip the Base Coat step, and just apply the Finish Coat over the Primer. This will make the concrete look similar to the color of the piece when wet.
  • Advanced Primer results in adhesion to concrete/ recycled glass blends and GFRC in an unbreakable bond.
  • Can be applied to highly polished surfaces, although polishing concrete past about a 400 grit is usually not needful with Amperseal as the sealer.

  • Shipping Information:

  • Ships via UPS only. Amperseal is classified as a HAZMAT Flammable Material, but can be shipped in the kit sized containers without the HAZMAT shipping fees.

  • Amperseal Kits contain product that can freeze, and should be shipped via UPS Overnight during winter months (Nov-Mar). Ships from Utah, so be advised that even if shipping TO a warm climate, Utah is subject to freezing temperatures.
  • When shipping via UPS Overnight, add the Amperseal product to a shopping cart by itself, and then Check Out and select UPS Overnight as the shipping option. If ordering other products from us, please place a separate order, so you can select normal UPS Ground, if desired.
  • Usually ships within 1-2 business days.

    Concrete Sink Mold, Vessel Bowl

    Product Description:
  • The 'Vessel Bowl' Sink Mold for concrete sink fabrication.
  • Two part mold- Inner Bowl Mold, and Outer Vessel Shell Mold.
  • Inner bowl can be used alone to make integral sinks. If you already have our Bowl sink mold, you can just order the outer shell mold and you'll be able to make the vessel bowl.
  • Small style drain for bathroom/lavatory size drains.
  • Dura-BLU fiberglass Molds are reusable indefinitely with proper care.
  • Dura-BLU molds have a highly polished Industrial Gelcoat finish.
  • Dura-BLU Molds are made using the strongest commercial-grade resin, NOT out of GP (General Purpose fiberglass resin).
  • Each Dura-BLU Mold has an Internal Flange:
    • Inner Flange further strengthens and braces the Mold.
    • Creates a platform to screw into; securing the Mold to the form.
    • Allows clamps to be used to lift stuck Molds out of cured concrete.

    • Each Mold comes with one disposable foam drain hole knockout. Additional Foam Knockouts available here. Reusable Rubber Faucet Knockouts (Large size) can also be used for drain holes.

      Product Specifications:
    • Sink Mold Measurements: Inner- 15 3/8" Diameter x 5 1/4"D**. Outer- 18 1/2" Diameter, 6 3/4"D**.
    • *Depth can be adjusted by trimming/sanding down the Mold to your desired depth, but you may lose the Internal Flange that is in the Dura-BLU Molds if you trim very much.
    • Sides to Dura-BLU Molds have at least a 5° slope to ensure Mold removal from concrete.

    • Mold Setup:
    • This is a two part mold. Silicone the inner bowl to a form (melamine, glass, etc.). Place outer Vessel Mold over the inner mold, and silicone the outer mold in place. The outer bowl also has a 1.5" flange so it can be secured in place with screws. Concrete is poured through hole in the top of the outer shell.
    • Apply 2-3 coats of a Mold Release Wax (sold separately).
    • Apply small amounts of silicone to the Mold's rim, and set in place in your form. Allow silicone to dry.
    • Screws can be used to secure the Mold if necessary. Using screws of the appropriate length, screw through the bottom of the form, up into the Internal Flange of the Sink Mold.
    • Run a smooth silicone bead around perimeter of the Sink Mold, where it meets the form base. Silicone Disposable Foam Drain Knockout (supplied with Mold), or Reusable Rubber Knockout, on to Mold. Allow silicone to dry.
    • Apply a thin coat of Fiberglass Safe Form Release (sold separately) to the Mold just prior to casting the concrete piece.

    • Various methods can be used to cast the concrete piece:
    • GFRC: Cement and fiberglass is sprayed on and hand packed into the form and around the Mold.
    • Wetcast: Oatmeal consistency concrete is placed in form and around the Mold and vibrated. A simple box should be built around the Sink Mold, to contain the concrete during this process.
    • Hand Packed: A drier concrete mix is hand packed into the form and around the Mold. A second step after de-molding will fill the voids with cement slurry, usually of a different coloring.
    • More information available on our Fabrication Tutorials Page.
    • Any voids in the concrete can be filled using a cement slurry. Add Cenospheres to portland cement to reduce shrinkage and make filling voids easier.

    • Mold Removal:
    • If Mold Release Wax and Liquid Release were used prior to casting the concrete, most Molds will usually pull out of the concrete with little effort.
    • If the mold is difficult to remove:
      • Adding cold water and ice to the inside of the mold for 10 minutes will shrink the mold just enough that removal is easier.
      • Compressed air shot around the Mold rim will break the suction holding the Mold in the concrete.
      • Using a few blocks of foam against the concrete, place a 2x4 across the Mold, and pry the Mold out using some large C-clamps, or wood working clamps.
      • Most Molds can be pushed out of the concrete by removing the drain plug, and pushing the Mold out through the drain hole.

      Warranty and Mold Care:
    • Each Dura-BLU mold has a Lifetime Guarantee against defect. This Guarantee does not cover misuse of the Molds (Dropping the Mold, Prying the Mold out using a screwdriver... etc.).
    • Liability Policy: Expressions LTD will not be held liable for any damage, misuse, or collateral damages resulting from use of any of our products. If there is a flaw or defect with a product, we will fix or replace the product.

    • Clean Mold with a sponge after each use. Waxing and buffing the Mold after use is recommended to maintain the Mold in top condition.
    • Any damage can be repaired using 2-Part epoxy (Available for a few dollars at any hardware store- comes in a double syringe). Mix the epoxy, apply to the damaged area, and sand smooth when dry. Wet sanding the Mold will return the damaged area to a high gloss if desired.

    • Shipping Information:
    • Usually ships within 2 business days.
    • Most orders ship the same day ordered.

Nano 1000 Concrete and Stone Sealer

    Product Details:

  • NANO1000 is an invisible, environmentally green nanotechnology treatment for porous materials that resists stains and water damage. It is a surface treatment stabilizer, a liquid, water-based, organic treatment that is applied to porous surfaces – stone, concrete, tile, brick, pavers and grout - to repel water, oils, and other stains, indoors and outdoors. NANO1000 is unlike any other product on the market because it does not peel, and has 100% UV protection.
  • NANO1000 minutely penetrates the porous material 100% below the surface. Once cured it stabilizes the surface and protects against damage, including damage caused by freezing and thawing, mold and mildew, and any organic or non-organic stains. NANO1000 protects the surface while maintaining its integrity with a transparent application.
  • NANO1000 is unique from other products because it is a treatment with surface-changing properties, not a topcoat or coating. It molecularly bonds to the surface and does not alter the exterior appearance.
  • NANO1000 uses nanotechnology – which uses tiny molecules to bond to the surface to which it is applied. After curing, the surface is sealed and protected for up to a decade from various stains, gum, and graffiti as well as weathering and wear. The size of the nanometer, one billionth of a meter, allows it to penetrate into the larger web of porous surfaces.
  • NANO1000 protects against damage from water (water stains, mold and mildew), foods and drinks (coffee, wine, soft drinks), autos (motor oil, antifreeze, transmission fluids), chewing gum, graffiti, and many other materials that stain porous surfaces.
  • NANO1000 becomes an effective barrier that does not allow water and other products to penetrate the applied surface. Water often contains dirt and impurities and this barrier keeps the treated surface clean. After application, if a damaging product is on the surface, it can be easily wiped away with water, a household cleaner or acetone for tougher stains. Efflorescence on stone and concrete surfaces is also prevented.
  • NANO1000 molecularly bonds to the treated surface and cannot be seen. It does not alter the basic characteristics of the surface.
  • To apply, the surface needs to be clean and dry. NANO1000 can then be applied with a hand sprayer, a high quality short nap roller or brush. It dries to touch within an hour. See Application Instructions for more information.
  • NANO1000 is an organic treatment that locks on to the surface and holds on until it "dies," approximately 10 years later. It then "lets go" of the surface and because it is organic, is biodegradable as well. No fear of it building up in our environment as many other silicon sealers have been known to do. In addition, it has zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which are organic compounds that participate in a photoreaction, and are considered to be air pollutants. Some of the sources of VOCs are found in many indoor items such as paints, wood finishes, carpet, furnishings, and varnishes and chemicals used for sealing and finishing walls.
  • Because NANO1000 molecularly bonds to the surface it will withstand numerous cleanings and everyday wear. The warranty is for five years and one application is effective for up to 10 years. Areas which do not show water resistance can have NANO1000 re-applied with no noticeable difference in the surface.

  • The amount of NANO1000 needed depends on the surface (stone, concrete or tile) to which it is applied. On average, NANO1000 will cover about 300 – 600 square feet per gallon. Approximate coverage for various surfaces is found on the product label.
  • NANO1000 can be used by homebuilders, remodelers, homeowners, business owners, contractors, hotels, city govenments, paving companies, stone manufacturers, and anyone else who wants to protect their investment from water and stain damage, graffiti, gum, motor oil, transmission fluids and virtually all stains, as well as weathering and wear.
  • NANO1000 can be found on home foundations, pool decks and patios, sidewalks, roads, public buildings and on multi-million dollar historical restoration projects in England.
  • Nanotechnology is the manipulation of materials on an atomic or molecular scale, with a nanometer being one billionth of a meter. It is a field of applied science covering a broad range of topics. The main unifying theme is the control of matter on a scale smaller than 1 micrometre, as well as the fabrication of devices on this same length scale. A new generation of analytical tools allows the deliberate manipulation of nanostructures, and in turn lead to the observation of novel phenomena. Nanotechnology cuts across many disciplines, including chemistry, applied physics and materials science. Much speculation exists as to what new science and technology might result from these lines of research.

  • Product Specifications:

  • Available in Quart, Gallon and 5 Gallon sizes.

  • COVERAGE PER GALLON (Approx.): Concrete 200 sq.ft., Limestone 250 sq.ft., Marble Granite, Slate 400 sq.ft.

  • View Nano 1000 MSDS.

  • Shipping Information:

  • Ships via UPS.
  • Due to the nature of this product being able to freeze, it should be shipped via UPS OVERNIGHT during the winter months.

  • Usually ships within 1-2 business days.

  • Application Instructions:

  • SURFACE PREPARATION: SHAKE WELL and DO NOT THIN. Apply to CLEAN AND DRY SURFACE at temperatures between 40-110 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure all previous sealers are completely removed.
  • APPLICATION: Polished surfaces: 1. Pour several strips of NANO1000 onto a small area and rub into the surface in a circular motion using a clean rag or lambs wool pad. Continue rubbing until you feel resistance and repeat step 1. Repeat 3 times and allow the surface to dry for one hour. After drying there will be a residue which will appear streaky. Polish the residue off with a clean dry cloth or lambs wool buffing pad until residue is gone. Unpolished surfaces: Pour NANO1000 onto surface. Use a 3/8” nap paint roller or tufted push broom and press into surface. Repeat twice “wet on wet” to insure full saturation. For larger jobs use a clean pump sprayer to apply the material and immediately roll into the surface.
  • DRY TIME: Dry to the touch in 1 hour. Avoid stain exposure before full 7 day cure time.
  • CLEAN UP: Clean application tools with soap and water.
  • STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: DO NOT FREEZE and use within one year of date of purchase.

  • CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Clean surface with household liquid non-abrasive cleanser. Stubborn stains can be removed by pouring household bleach onto a piece of cloth or paper towel and placing it directly onto the affected area. Keep the cloth saturated for 30 minutes and repeat if necessary to remove the stain.

  • When a Satin finish is desired, we recommend using the Gloss product, thinned with 10-30% Xylene, as a first primer coat, followed by a second coat of the Matte product 24 hours later.
  • Xylexin is backed with several US Patents.
  • Outperforms all other known commercial and residential coatings.
  • This is a Two part, solvent-based coating. (You mix the activator with the base product prior to application).

  • Matte can be applied by brush, roller, sprayer, or coating system.

  • Gloss is suitable only for spraying. If you need to roll the gloss, order the pint of Flow Control Defoamer:
    • 1/2 pint of Flow Control Defoamer treats 1 Gallon of the Xylexin (1/8 pint of Defoamer will treat one quart of Xylexin).
    • Mix part A and part B of the Xylexin coating before mixing in the Flow Control Defoamer.
    • Flow Control Defoamer can be used with the Matte finish as well the Gloss, and will help ensure smooth application by roller.

    • Coverage: One quart will cover 75-100 square feet, at 1 mil. thickness.
    • Coverage: One gallon will cover 300-400 square feet, at 1 mil. thickness.
