Duraset Acrylic Resin Overlay Primer

DuraSet™ resins are Modifed Acrylic Resins designed specifically for binding of cementitious materials including overlays, mortars, and grouts.

DuraSet™ is most commonly mixed with G-100 Pro-Series Grout Mix™ as part of the Spray-Tek™ Overlay System

Available in 3 product types:

• DuraSet VAE: Primer for 1/4" or thicker Overlays/Stampable Overlays.
• DuraSet 1000: Primer for Microtopping and Overlays.
• DuraSet 1001 FastSet: Faster Drying Primer for Microtopping and Overlays.

DuraSet VAE:

• DuraSet™ VAE is a 100% Vinyl Acetate Resin designed specifically as a primer for Stamp-Tek™ Stampable Overlay. VAE resins are a time tested technology and are best known for their adhesion and performance when thicknesses exceeds 1/4”. As a VAE, it is capable of being re-emulsified only one time, allowing subsequent applications to adhere well, yet eventually forming a tough, durable and long-lasting binder or film.
• Packaging: 1 gallon, 5-gallon pail and 55-gallon drum.
  
• Coverage: 200-300 square feet per gallon.

• NOTE: While DuraSet™ VAE is required as a primer for Stamp-Tek Stampable Overlay, it should not be combined with the mix. Stamp-Tek Stampable Overlay already contains a dry polymer in the mix.

DuraSet 1000:

• DuraSet™ 1000 is an all-acrylic resin designed specifically for binding of cementitious materials, including overlays, mortars, and grouts. DuraSet™ 1000 is comprised entirely of high quality resins which, when combined, are easy to apply. In addition to acting as a binder for cementitious overlays, it can be used with our C-Series Liquid Colorants when performing faux finishing techniques.
• DuraSet™ 1000 is most commonly mixed with G-100 Pro-Series Grout Mix™ as part of the Spray-Tek™ Overlay System it is also commonly used as a primer for the Spray-Tek™ Overlay System. In addition to acting as a binder for cementitious overlays, DuraSet™ 1000 can be used with our C-Series Liquid Colorants when performing faux finishing techniques. When the temperature drops to 60° or below, DuraSet™ 1000 be combined with DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ to accelerate cure times.

DuraSet 1001 FastSet:

• DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ is an all-acrylic resin designed specifically for binding of cementitious materials, including overlays, mortars, and grouts. DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ is comprised entirely of high quality resins which, when combined, are easy to apply. DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ is a faster-setting formula for cooler days, when the temperature drops to 60° or below. DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ may be combined with DuraSet™ 1000 to accelerate cure times.
• DuraSet*-™ 1001-FastSet™ is most commonly mixed with G-100 Pro-Series Grout Mix™ as part of the Spray-Tek™ Overlay System. it is also commonly used as a primer for the Spray-Tek™ Overlay System. In addition to acting as a binder for cementitious overlays, DuraSet™ 1001-FastSet™ can be used with our C-Series Liquid Colorants when performing faux finishing techniques.
