Epoxy Floor Broadcast Acrylic Flake
Product Details:
Acrylic Flake blends of the color of your choice.
For use with Epoxy floor coatings.
Create a full or partial flake floor, or mix colors to suit your desired look.
Brightens or soften the environment by controlling the color and texture of the floor.
Application Instructions:
When using Broadcast, you need to put down a Base Coat, such as SHIELD 50 at about 8 mils thick.
While Base Coat is still wet, broadcast Acrylic Flakes desired onto the Base Coat. (Use of Spiked Shoes will allow easier access to all areas of the floor, but try not to walk on areas that have the Acrylic Flakes already down).
Broadcasting can be done in a light, Random Flake, or a Full Flake coverage. Double Broadcast can be used for the maximum Flake coverage, and durability.
Double Broadcast is done by: Apply Epoxy Base Coat, broadcast Full Flake, let dry and then apply another coat of Epoxy, another broadcast of Full Flake.
A light sanding can be done after the epoxy is dry, to soften the Acrylic Flake surface. Clean the floor, and then apply the epoxy Top Coat, such as UV Shield.
Note: When using a Full Flake or Double Broadcast, you will need about twice as much Top-Coat, to evenly cover the surface (if the Top-Coat says it covers 200 square feet, plan on getting 100 square feet of coverage).
Coverage:
10 lbs. of Acrylic Flake will cover about 100 square feet of Full Flake coverage.
10 lbs. of Acrylic Flake will cover about 1,000 square feet of Random Flake coverage.
Shipping Information:
This kit usually ships in 2-3 days, via UPS only.
